The FBI has made three more arrests related to last year’s San Bernardino terrorist attack.
According to a criminal complaint, on Thursday morning federal agents scooped up:
- 26-year-old Mariya Chemykh
- 31-year-old Tatiana Farook
- 31-year-old Syed Raheel Farook
The were arrested for criminal connections to Syed Rizwan Farook, one of the shooters from the Dec. 2, 2015, incident.
On a five-count indictment, they were charged with federal conspiracy, marriage fraud, and “making false statements under oath for the purpose of obtaining immigration benefits.”
Raheem Farook is the brother of Rizwan Farook, and husband to Tatiana—they are both from Corona, Calif.
Chemykh is from Ontario, Canada, and allegedly conspired with Rizwan in 2011/2012 to “provide material support to terrorists.”
The family members face a maximum sentence of 5 years in federal prison.
