Prince Harry slammed the media’s constant speculating on his private life, including whether he has a girlfriend or not.
In an interview with the BBC, the British royal said that the line between his public and private life has been blurred.
“Everyone has a right to privacy,” he was quoted as saying Sunday ahead of the Invictus Games.

“Sadly that line between public and private life is almost non-existent any more,” he said. “We will continue to do our best to ensure that there is the line.”
Speaking with the Sunday Times, Harry also spoke on why he doesn’t have a girlfriend, saying he has a “massive paranoia that sits inside me.”

“If or when I do find a girlfriend,” he added, “I will do my utmost… to ensure that me and her can get to the point where we’re actually comfortable with each other before the massive invasion that is inevitably going to happen into her privacy.”
He continued: “The other concern is that even if I talk to a girl, that person is then suddenly my wife, and people go knocking on her door.”

Harry went on to say that members of the royal family are “completely aware that we are in a very privileged position,” but stressed that he hoped his private life remain private.

“Everyone has a right to their privacy, and a lot of the members of the public get it, but sadly in some areas there is this incessant need to find out every little bit of detail about what goes on behind the scenes. It’s unnecessary.”

In the Invictus Games, 500 wounded servicemen and women from 15 countries will compete in sports.
Harry then added: “I’m not putting work before the idea of a family, marriage and all that kind of stuff. To be fair, I haven’t had that many opportunities to get out there and meet people. At the moment, my focus is very much of work. But if someone slips into my life then that’s absolutely fantastic.”
