A man was shot and killed in SeaTac near the airport on Thursday afternoon, according to reports.

King County Sheriff’s Deputies were called around 4 p.m. to 24th Ave S. & S. 154th St., located northeast of SeaTac.

The suspect is still on the run. A search is underway for the gunman, reported KOMO-TV.

Authorities haven’t given any other details but said the gunman had escaped.

A spokesman with Kent Fire, which provides service for SeaTac, said residents should be aware there’s a shooter on the loose.

The public was asked to avoid the area, reported Q-13.
