A number of McDonald’s customers are complaining about a lack of cheese in the chain’s mozzarella sticks.
“So where’s the cheese?” one wondered on Twitter.
“I got mozzarella sticks from @McDonalds for the first time and there was no cheese never going back again lol,” said another.

The company acknowledged that it’s heard some of the complaints.Â
“We are aware of a low volume of guest concerns about our Mozzarella Cheese Sticks,” a company spokesperson said in a statement to the Chicago Tribune.
“In these instances, we believe the cheese melted out during the baking process in our kitchens and shouldn’t have been served. We apologize to any customers who may have been affected. We are working to fix this in our restaurants.”
