A woman in New York, is facing a felony charge for driving around with a homemade license plate.
Police in Springville said Amanda Schweickert, 28, had no license plate on the front, and had a fake license plate in the back of her vehicle, WIVB-TV reported.
The plate was made from cardboard and painted to resemble a real New York plate, officials said.
“In case you are wondering, homemade cardboard license plates are NOT legal,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
