But if they don’t reach a deal, he’s warning that the bombing will start at a much higher level and intensity than before.

Health officials around the world are responding after a rare hantavirus outbreak aboard a cruise ship left three people dead and several others sick. Authorities say the vessel is now heading toward Spain, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is monitoring the health status of U.S. passengers on board. Health experts emphasize the virus is serious, but say the public should not panic. The CDC says the virus is not spread by people without symptoms, transmission requires close contact, and the risk to the American public is very low.

A decades-long global insider trading scheme was uncovered by the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday, unsealing charges against 30 people. Nineteen people were arrested yesterday, and two international defendants are considered fugitives and together have allegedly collected tens of millions of illicit profits. The accused face up to 25 years in prison on some counts.
