They ignored the FreedomConvoy for as long as possible. There was almost no reporting. Then, when it became impossible to ignore, they began to attack and ridicule instead of trying to report it accurately.

The inquiry into the federal government's unprecedented use of the Emergencies Act during "FreedomConvoy" protests last winter will start public hearings on Thursday. Here are five things to know about it:
