Murder Probe as Girl’s Body Found in Trunk in Paris

A major police investigation was launched in Paris late on Saturday after the body of 12-year-old girl was found in a trunk.

The remains were found in the courtyard of a building in the 19th district of the French capital.

According to French media, a local girl had been reported missing by her parents earlier in the day.

They also reported that three people had been arrested overnight and a fourth one on Saturday morning.

The office of the Paris public prosecutor has opened an investigation into the murder of a minor under the age of 15.
