 After eight hours of the 2012 Dubai 24 Hours, Mercedes has moved to the lead.

Christiaan Frankenhout in the #6 Heico Motorsport Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 led Thomas Jäger in the #3 Abu Dhabi by Black Falcon Mercedes by 42 seconds. Abdulaziz Al-Faisal in the Saudi Falcons by Schubert BMW Z4 GT3 was third, five seconds back, with Rodolfo Gonzalez in the #16 Heico Motorsport Mercedes a lap back.
