The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards with four-time host entertainment icon LL COOL J commenced Sunday, February 8, 2015, 8:00pm ET at STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, California. Presented by The Recording Academy, produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures, GRAMMY Awards honor musical excellence in the recording arts and sciences to artists and technical professionals of 2014. Four GRAMMYs went to Sam Smith including Best Record of the Year. Three GRAMMYs went to Beck including Best Album of the Year, Pharrell Williams including Best Urban Contemporary Album and Beyoncé including Best R&B Song. The late iconic comedian Joan Rivers was honored with the Best Spoken Word Album award. Melissa Rivers and her son Cooper Endicott accepted the award on behalf of her mother.

This year’s GRAMMY solo and group performances included AC/DC, Ariana Grande, Common, Ed Sheeran, Eric Church, John Legend, Madonna, Miranda Lambert, Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith, Usher, Sir Paul McCartney, Rihanna and Kanye West. A special real-time video presentation by President Barak Obama urged artists to help end domestic violence.
