In an incident that had many fans saying, “No, Tom! Don’t do it!” English actor Tom Hiddleston was filmed dancing with singer Taylor Swift at the Met Gala last week in New York.

“I love dancing, who doesn’t?” the “Night Manager” star told the Press Association (via Refinery29). “I haven’t actually danced for a long time, but I happened to be dancing at the Met Gala because it was a party.

“I was on a table with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd was playing and she said, ‘The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance,’ and you’re making music. She, as a musician, was like, ‘We’ve got to dance for The Weeknd,’ so we got up and danced.”

The video was posted by Valentino brand ambassador Carlos Souza on Instagram. They danced to TI’s “Bring Em Out.”

Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Hiddleston might take the role of James Bond.

“I’m a huge fan of the series,” Hiddleston told the Sunday Times last week, according to EW. “We all went to see Spectre when we were shooting Skull Island in Hawaii. I simply love the theme tune, the tropes and the mythology. I love the whole thing. If it ever came knocking, it would be an extraordinary opportunity.”
