Pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard will return to the Mostly Mozart Festival as the 2010 Artist-in-Residence, playing in six performances from Aug. 13 to 16. He will explore Johann Sebastian Bach’s masterful polyphony and its impact on future generations of composers. His first performance, “Ensemble Basiani Ars Nova Copenhagen,” will be at Alice Tully Hall on Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. The tickets range from $45 to $75.
