Reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper is all-in for Mother’s Day. The prodigious slugger is taking things a step further than most by playing with a pair of Under Armour cleats that are specially-designed to celebrate the annual event.

He tweeted a picture of his specially-designed spikes on Instagram.

Harper, the first overall pick of the 2010 MLB Draft, also posted a photo of a young Bryce along with his mother.

Harper, who hit 42 home runs last season, already has 10 through his first 30 games this season and would appear to be in line for a possible second straight MVP—though it’s still early. Meanwhile, his Nationals are off to a great start, 19–11, after going a disappointing 84–78 last season.
