The game James Bond 007: Blood Stone is a painfully average mix of shooting, driving, and stealth action, which ultimately falls flat. While it’s admittedly enjoyable to play as the undercover MI6 agent, Blood Stone doesn't ever set you free of mediocrity. Throughout the story, you visit various exotic locations pursuing the threat of a potential bio-terrorism attack. The locations are varied, but the graphics are similar ranging from lifelike to bland. The plotline is enjoyable but predictable, and the characters are all of the stereotypical mix that fans of the formula will be familiar with. This is a shame, because the game does have some action-packed sequences. Overall it’s brief, uninspiring, and hard to recommend as anything other than a rental game.
