Stanley Tucci Directs Broadway Production

Lend Me a Tenor
, the tale of an opera gone wrong, opened April 4 at the Music Box Theatre in New York.

Making his Broadway directorial debut, actor Stanley Tucci leads the production, which stars Anthony LaPaglia and Tony Shalhoub, in this classic farce.

According to the show's synopsis, it is “set in the 1930s, when Tito Merelli, a famous hot blooded Italian opera star, arrives in Cleveland, Ohio, to make his debut with the local opera and promptly goes missing … and chaos on a truly operatic level ensues.”

Holly Robinson Peete Pens Children’s Book

Actress Holly Robinson Peete has co-written a new children’s book along with her daughter Ryan Elizabeth Peete.

My Brother Charlie focuses on the challenges of children with autism and was inspired by 12-year-old Ryan and her twin brother RJ, who was diagnosed with autism at a young age.

Peete’s daughter recently told People magazine, “I want people to know what autism is so they don’t get a whole weird idea. Kids with autism are exceptional human beings.”

Looking at the issue from another angle, Holly’s husband and former NFL star Rodney Peete has also just released a book—a memoir called Not My Boy!—tackling his experience dealing with his son’s condition.

The couple’s charitable organization, The HollyRod Foundation, has been working for over a decade to focus on quality of life to families inflicted with illnesses or disorders.
