Remember Hi-C?
Well, the Ecto-Cooler Hi-C citrus drink popular in the late 1980s that was based on the “Ghostbusters” films is apparently making a comeback.
An image of the can was posted on Twitter, sourced from an eBay auction this week. It appears that a can of the upcoming Ecto Cooler reboot was somehow snuck onto the eBay, but the auction has quietly ended.
According to the Consumerist, production samples of the juice boxes were leaked as well, without branded packaging. In November, Coca-Cola, the maker of Hi-C, registered the Ecto Cooler trademark, likely ramping up for the “Ghostbusters” reboot from director Paul Feig and starring Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Bill Murray.

Another image showed the drink’s nutrition content, and it contains 10 percent juice, 41 grams of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, orange and tangerine juices from concentrate, citric acid, and most importantly, Yellow # 5 and Blue #1 (the drink’s bright green color).
It reads: “PRODUCED FOR THE COCA-COLA COMPANY. ATLANTA, GA.”
Yum.
