Meteorologist Slips 20 Batman and Superman Puns Into 1-Minute Weather Forecast

As the new film “Batman v Superman” takes movie theaters by storm, this weather reporter managed to cram 20 puns, quotes, and references to the Batman and Superman franchises into her 1-minute forecast last week.

Sian Welby of Channel 5 in the U.K. starts the session by saying “you needed x-ray vision see through the fog in some parts this morning” and then continues to slip in one pun after another until she concludes by predicting “scattered showers, some of which will be heavy and thundery super.”

While the video description states there are 20 references in the forecast, we weren’t able to identify all of them, perhaps for a lack of DC Universe knowledge.

This, however, is not the first time Welby pulled off a pun-tastic performance. Last December she peppered her forecast with Star Wars puns—12 of them, according to the Inside Edition, though we could only detect 10.
