Fifteen-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was the honorary pace car driver for Sunday’s NASCAR race in Daytona Beach, Fla.
All of the drivers in the #Daytona500 CAN see me, as we get ready to kick off the Great American Race at Daytona International Speedway!

As it turned out, driving the pace car wasn’t the only highlight of Cena’s day. The star wrestler was apparently invisible to FOX’s Jamie Little, who accidentally whipped him with her ponytail while walking right past him. Little was filling in for Michael Waltrip—who was racing in the event—and doing his famous pre-race grid walk, where he goes on pit road to interview drivers and any celebrities. She somehow walked right past a confused Cena.
Cena, who is 6-foot-1 and weighs 250 pounds, is not any easy person to miss. Still, he had a little fun on Twitter with the whole thing.
