How about them Dallas Cowboys? The clock has been turned back, as Dallas is responsible for the best team in all of the National Football League. That is represented in NFL power rankings following the Cowboys going out west and earning the biggest win the franchise has achieved in years.
Week 7 NFL power rankings
32. Oakland Raiders (0-6): Good on the Raiders for making what could have been a blowout loss against San Diego an actual game. Derek Carr doesn’t look that bad these days.
31. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-6): A win is coming, Jacksonville fans. Perhaps they can beat a Cleveland team that is possibly flying a bit too high.
30. New York Jets (1-5): It’s only going to get worse for the Jets moving forward. That Thursday Night Football game at New England could be a debacle.
29. Washington Redskins (1-5): All of us who thought Kirk Cousins could be the answer at QB for Washington were wrong. Dead wrong.
28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5): Tampa Bay will have surrendered another touchdown pass to Joe Flacco in the time it takes you to read this sentence.
27. Minnesota Vikings (2-4): The Teddy Bridgewater fans are silent these days. Minnesota’s offense was flat out terrible against the Lions.
26. St. Louis Rams (1-4): Austin Davis remains a work in progress, but he is flashing signs that he could be the future quarterback of the Rams. Stay tuned, Sam Bradford.
25. Tennessee Titans (2-4): Tennessee saved its season win a win after blowing that lead to Cleveland. The Titans remain on life support, but they aren’t completely lost.
24. Atlanta Falcons (2-4): Atlanta is maybe the most disappointing team in the NFL. The Falcons must turn things around quickly to avoid another disaster season.
23. Houston Texans (3-3): Thanks for making a Thursday Night Football game interesting, Houston. We all appreciate it.
22. New York Giants (3-3): Sunday night couldn’t have gone much worse for the Giants. Losing Victor Cruz for the season was injury to insult, and it’s a big reason New York plummets in updated NFL power rankings.
21. Miami Dolphins (2-3): The ‘Phins were seconds away from an upset win until Aaron Rodgers went all Aaron Rodgers. So close, yet so far.
20. Buffalo Bills (3-3): Of all the things to let Buffalo down against New England, it was the team’s defense. Buffalo isn’t there just yet.
19. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3): KC had an extra week to prepare for Philip Rivers and the Chargers. That may prove to not have been enough time.
18. New Orleans Saints (2-3): Drew Brees will try to begin a New Orleans turnaround against a Detroit defense that was dominant this past Sunday. The immovable force versus…
17. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3): It’s been years decades since Pittsburgh was blown out in Cleveland. That said, don’t count the Steelers out just yet.
