Los Angeles Dodgers star outfielder Yasiel Puig had a double in the team’s 4–1 win at the Colorado Rockies on Saturday, and he was also a hit later that night when he hung out with the Chatfield High School baseball team during their prom at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado.
Puig posted pictures of the night on Twitter.

The 25-year-old Puig is off to a hot start this season for the first-place Dodgers. The five-tool outfielder from Cuba is hitting .302/.371/.444 (average/on-base/slugging) with a home run, two doubles, two triples, and five RBIs.

But as great as he’s been at the plate—and off the field—Puig’s most impressive play of the young season was his throw from right field to nail Rockies shortstop Trevor Story at third base on Friday night.
Story had hit an opposite field blast that went over Puig’s head and off the top of the wall. The rookie shortstop was rounding second and going for a triple when Puig picked up the ball on the run and rifled it to third base, just in time to nab Story.
This throw from @YasielPuig is melting the internet, and for good reason. (via @MLB) https://t.co/rhkijtpncH
