A man was stabbed near the state Capitol in Sacramento, police said Jan. 29.

The 64-year-old victim was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center in critical condition.

It’s unclear what led to the stabbing, which took place at 8 a.m. near 10th and N streets.

The intersection is just west of the state Capitol, near the Legislative Office Building and the California State Library.

No arrests have been made, and no description of a suspect has been released.
