Following the Chinese regime’s imposition of a draconian national security law on Hong Kong, Taiwan’s government expressed strong disapproval of the move, while stating its support of the Hong Kong people.

Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen said in a press conference on June 30 that this proves that “One country, two systems” doesn’t work and indicated that Taiwan will assist the Hong Kong people through specific actions.
