China Insider: Coronavirus Outbreak Continues to Worsen in Northern China

From late December, many Chinese cities in northeastern and northern China reported new outbreaks of the coronavirus one after another. Superspreaders emerged in Shenyang and Dalian cities, where numerous roads and communities have been sealed off. In Beijing, new cases kept arising and seven neighborhoods were identified as “medium risk” areas. In the nearby Hebei Province, at least five cities declared a wartime state.
