CSI Season 14 Finale Spoilers: Capt. Brass’s Exit Out of the Show After a Tragic Loss

In the finale episode of the popular CBS crime drama, CSI, the team will investigate a present-day crime that has a tie to a mob heist that happened some 25 years earlier. 

Actor Treat Williams will guest star in the show as Sam Bishop, a criminalist who tries to help the team find a connection between the cases.

The last episode of Season 14, “Dead In His Tracks,” will have Capt. Brass deal with his daughter’s suicide attempt which will lead to him making a serious decision about his future. According to TV Guide, this will be the last season for Capt. Jim Brass, played by Paul Guilfoyle, who was with the show since its inception. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Guilfoyle is one of the last remaining original actors in the show. 

Episode 22 will air on CBS on May 7 at 10 p.m. 

According to CBS, the show was renewed for the 2014-2015 season, its 15th.
