Artemis II Set to Begin Reentry Phase; Pakistan Tightens Security Ahead of US–Iran Talks | NTD Good Morning (April 10)

NASA teams on the ground are completing final preparations as NASA’s Artemis II mission is nearing its return to Earth. Flight teams are carefully tracking every step, with splashdown off the coast of San Diego scheduled for about 8:07 p.m. ET on April 10.

Pakistani authorities are locking down the capital city of Islamabad ahead of the high-stakes talks between the United States and Iran on Saturday. The talks are expected to focus on securing a lasting ceasefire, following weeks of war. U.S. Vice President JD Vance is set to leave for Pakistan on April 10, while an Iranian delegation is also expected to be there.

A U.S. trade court on Friday will consider the legality of a 10 percent global import tax imposed by the Trump administration. A group of 24 mostly Democratic-led states and two small businesses sued the Trump administration to stop the new tariffs, which went into effect on Feb. 24. A ​three-judge panel of the U.S. trade court is set to hear arguments in ​the cases at 10 a.m. ET.
