A Minneapolis community continues to grieve after two young children were killed in a shooting at a Catholic school. 10-year-old Harper Moyski and 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel were remembered by their families as joyful and kind children. The Trump administration approved an $825 million arms sale to Ukraine on Thursday. The State Department says the package includes more than 3,000 extended-range missiles, GPS systems, and support equipment. The approval follows Russia’s massive aerial attack on Kyiv on Thursday, which Ukraine says killed at least 23 people, with dozens more wounded. European officials say diplomatic offices were damaged in the strikes, prompting an emergency meeting at the United Nations on Friday.
President Donald Trump is ordering government agencies to investigate whether taxpayer grants have been misused for partisan causes, including programs for LGBT teens and racial justice in education. He also signed an order making classical architecture the default style for new federal buildings, and another targeting collective bargaining for unions in national security agencies such as NASA and the Patent and Trademark Office.
