Musk: DOGE Employees Getting Daily Death Threats; WH Responds After Journalist Added to Group Chat | NTD Good Morning Full Broadcast (March 25)

Elon Musk revealed that members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are facing daily death threats amid their work on federal budget cuts. Meanwhile, investigations continue into multiple attacks on Tesla facilities, including incendiary devices found at a dealership in Austin, Texas. The FBI has launched a task force to address what it calls acts of domestic terrorism targeting Tesla, of which Musk is co-founder and CEO.

The White House confirmed that a journalist seemed to be inadvertently added to a government group chat that was discussing the renewed airstrike campaign against Houthi terrorists in Yemen. “At this time, the message thread that was reported appears to be authentic,” a National Security spokesman said. “We are reviewing how an inadvertent number was added to the chain.” This comes after The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg wrote an article about the incident.

The clock is ticking for Republican lawmakers to meet their self-imposed deadline to pass a big budget bill packed with President Donald Trump’s policies. House leaders are putting pressure on their Senate colleagues as the two chambers have yet to agree on a unified path forward for budget plans.
