Hamas Announces Delay in Israeli Hostage Release; Trump Imposes 25 Percent Tariffs on Steel, Aluminum | NTD Good Morning (Feb. 11)

Hamas terrorists say they’re delaying the release of Israeli hostages planned for Saturday. They are accusing Israel of violating the conditions of the cease-fire. Israel responded by saying Hamas would be in complete violation of the agreement. President Donald Trump also reacted, saying “all hell is going to break out” if Hamas doesn’t release the hostages by Saturday.

Trump has imposed a 25 percent tariff on steel and aluminum imports, which is set to take effect on March 4. He also reversed a Biden-era ban on plastic straws, saying paper alternatives were ineffective. Meanwhile, he paused enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and pardoned former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

The Senate could begin voting on Tuesday on Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation to become the next director of national intelligence, where she has the backing of the majority of Senators. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is also expected to receive a full Senate vote this week, but some Senate Democrats are continuing to oppose his nomination. The Senate Judiciary Committee will meet on Thursday to revisit the nomination of Kash Patel to be the next FBI director.
