Israel Orders Full Evacuation of Gaza City; White House Denies Trump Signed Alleged Note to Epstein | NTD Good Morning (Sept. 9)
Israel ordered the full evacuation of Gaza City on Tuesday morning. The announcement was made ahead of the planned expansion of Israel’s offensive into the city, where hundreds of thousands of people are struggling under severe humanitarian conditions. Israel dropped leaflets with evacuation instructions and maps across northern Gaza to direct people toward a humanitarian zone in Al-Mawasi.
The White House says President Donald Trump’s legal team will take action against The Wall Street Journal over a story claiming to link Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt called the report false, and Trump himself has denied any such connection, calling the story “false, malicious, and defamatory.”
Trump said on Monday that he plans to improve public safety in Chicago in a manner similar to the current operation in Washington. The Department of Homeland Security also announced increased activity in Illinois and Chicago in the shape of Operation Midway Blitz. The department says the ICE operation will target criminal illegal immigrants who have flocked to Chicago and Illinois. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said that if the White House sends National Guard troops to Chicago, he’ll immediately fight the deployment in court.
