Records show the suspect previously served nearly seven years in prison for attempting to aid ISIS.
The FBI is investigating a synagogue attack outside Detroit as targeted violence against the Jewish community. Authorities say a man drove a vehicle into the Temple Israel Synagogue in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, and opened fire on security. The suspect died at the scene.
