U.S. and Saudi Arabia Sign Nuclear Deal; U.S. Targets Iran for 12th Night | NTD Good Morning (July 23)

The United States and Saudi Arabia have signed a landmark nuclear cooperation agreement on Wednesday, opening the door for the Gulf kingdom to develop a civilian nuclear program. The deal provides a legal framework for long-term co-operation on nuclear technology and safety. The agreement could allow U.S. companies to play a major role in building Saudi Arabia’s nuclear infrastructure, including a potential uranium enrichment facility. The agreement will now be sent to Congress for review.

U.S. Central Command says U.S. forces carried out another round of strikes against Iran for the twelfth consecutive night. The command says Iran does not control the strategic waterway and that it remains open to commercial shipping despite threats and attacks by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. CENTCOM adds that commercial vessels continue to transit the strait with U.S. military support.

President Trump took his political message to Georgia during a campaign, warning about the dangers of communism. The president urging Republicans come out and vote in the midterm elections in November. The president also highlighting what his administration has done in the last year and a half, including Trump Accounts program, which he says more than 7 million children are already signed up.
