Blueberry Nut Smoothie (Recipe)

Smoothies give real energy kicks and make a nice caffeine replacement.

Ingredients

  • 1 peach
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons Brazil nuts or other nut
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in the blender and smooth it.

Blueberries are considered a great stomach-fat fighter. They are full of phytonutrients and antioxidants and are low-calorie. Peaches are packed with vitamins and filling fiber. Adding Brazil nuts is a great way to get a good dose of selenium, zinc, protein, magnesium, and thiamine.
